Led by Regina Noland and accompanied by pianist Angie Chen, the Sanctuary Choir is a great opportunity to join with other Christians to sing praise in a specialized setting. In addition to providing much of the music each week during the traditional (11:00am) service, the Sanctuary Choir also performs Christmas and Easter programs and other occasional special music performances. The choir is open to people of all skill and experience levels -- if you want to praise the Lord with other musical believers, we would love for you to join us!
Practice is every Wednesday night from 7-8pm. Contact Regina Noland at email@example.com for more information.
The Grove Band
The Grove Band leads the contemporary (9:00am) worship service each week. Always open to new musicians, the Grove Band seeks to provide an opportunity for musically-talented individuals to use their skill and passion in service of the Lord. With both regular and rotating positions in the group, there are plenty of ways for anybody who is interested to get involved, whether by playing an instrument, running the slides or the soundboard, or in another way.
Practice is every Wednesday at 7:00pm. Contact Hayden Sexton at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Young Musicians is a children's musical program meant for kids between preschool (4 years and older) and 5th grade. Led by Regina Noland, a retired music instructor and supervisor of arts education with Tuscaloosa City Schools, this group is a way for students to receive structured music education in a Christian environment where they will also learn about God and the faithful life. The group performs alongside the Sanctuary Choir in multiple worship services each year.
Young Musicians meets on Wednesday nights from 5:45-6:30. Contact Regina Noland at email@example.com for more information.
The Youth Ensemble is a way for middle and high school aged students to receive further instruction and to continue learning beyond the Young Musicians group. It is meant as a continuation of Young Musicians, but it is open to any student who wants the opportunity to grow musically and spiritually regardless of skill level -- whether you've been singing for years or have never sung a note before, we would love to have you join us!
Practice is Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:00, finishing in time for youth group. Contact Regina Noland at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
