Young Musicians at TUMC
At Taylorville UMC, we believe that kids of all ages are not just another program, and they aren't the Church of tomorrow, but are a real part of the Church today. One of the ways we seek to serve children is through our Young Musicians group, which brings great music education to kids of all skill levels without cost to their families, led by talented and experienced musicians and teachers. Using a variety of methods, your children will learn the basics of rhythm, melody, and harmony, play handbells, and, of course, have plenty of time singing together. There will also be opportunities to join the adult choir and sing special music in Sunday worship services throughout the year.
When and Where
Young Musicians meets every Wednesday from 6-6:30PM at Taylorville UMC (640 Bear Creek Rd). We're kicking off on September 7th -- we'd love for you to join us there!
Meet our Choir Director
Regina Noland is the Director of Traditional Music Ministries at TUMC. She leads our Sanctuary choir each week and organizes our traditional worship service, as well as teaching our young musicians class. She brings with her decades of experience teaching music at the elementary school level in the Tuscaloosa City Schools system, a love for music, ministry, and bringing both to children, and a true heart for the Lord.
